Children are imitative by nature. Films can have a substantial impact on child psychology and behaviour. They can open up an exciting world of fantasy before them.
Churi tells the story of a child, a tokai, who collects scrap papers for earning a livelihood. He buys a bunch of glass bangles for his sister sacrificing the money for a show of film, an entertainment he is so much passionate about. This sacrifice that he did was inspired by a film he watched, where the hero buys glass bangles for his sister. He acted like the hero, but in return, he gets much more joy that he could have imagined.
